Newbawn is a small village located in the southwest of County Wexford, in Ireland. It is located about 3 km (~2 miles) south of the N25 road from Wexford to New Ross.

'Newbawn'takes its name from  'Bádhún Nua'. 'Nua' means 'new' and "bádhún" is the Irish for "bawn" which was a walled enclosure often attached to a castle and used fro grazing animals.

The population in the 2006 National Census was put at 204.
