Confirmation Retreat

On the 23^rd of March 2005, the 5^th and 6^th class pupils of Newbawn and Raheen N.S travelled to Clonard Community Centre for a Confirmation Retreat to prepare them for their upcoming Confirmation.

The expedition was supervised by Liam Turner (Newbawn) and John Curran (Raheen) and even Fr. James Byrne (P.P Of Newbawn) came along. The day was directed  by Fr. Aódhán Marken who provided everybody with a very entertaining day.

The day started with a bit of fun and laughter which everybody enjoyed. After this there was a quiz based on the sacrament of Confirmation. Coming after lunch Fr. Aódhán showed the children a film (Big Fat Liar).

To conclude there was a lovely mass held in Clonard day church and then we returned home.
