Ireland is situated in north-western Europe, with Co. Wexford being in the south-eastern corner of the island.

Co. Wexford is bordered by the Irish Sea and St. George's Channel to the east, the Atlantic Ocean to the south is with the counties of Waterford, Kilkenny, Carlow and Wicklow to the west and north, respectively.

The village of Newbawn is just off the main Rosslare Europort to Cork road (N 25) approximately 12km from New Ross and and about 18km from the county town, Wexford.
